Act for our Environment, celebrated annually since 2015 during the month of June, is a core CT sustainability initiative led by the Group to celebrate the planet. 

Our teams – counting 20,000 employees in Mauritius, Madagascar, India, Bangladesh, and South Africa – joined hands, this year, via collective initiatives with one common objective: to initiate change, because there is #OnlyOneEarth. 

"This annual programme is based on the voluntary commitment of employees. We are particularly attentive to the resources used in our factories and are aware that we must act to preserve and maintain the balance of our environment. Our goal is to raise awareness and engage our teams in concrete action.”

Here’s what happened recently in line with the  Act for our Environment initiative: 

• Cleaning Campaigns by Aquarelle and Laguna teams in Madagascar 

• Awareness programme on wildlife and natural ecosystems by Laguna team in India 

• Awareness on conservation of biodiversity at Ill aux Aigrettes by Floreal & FSM teams in Mauritius 

• Awareness & distribution of cloth bags by Tropic team in India 

• Upcycling activities & waste segregation by Aquarelle & Laguna teams in Mauritius 

• Plantation activity at La Vallée de Ferney by Tropic team in Mauritius
